Setting up your store — the four steps

Setup is four steps, and Camorna shows you which one you are on. Most people finish in one sitting.

Before you start
Setup goes quickly when you have the right logins to hand, and stalls when you don't. Here is everything it will ask for, in plain words.
- Your phone. Camorna texts a code to verify a recovery phone number before your first store is added, so you can always get back in. Any mobile that receives texts will do.
- Your store's login — have it in front of you. Installing Camorna happens inside your store, so you will be asked to sign in there. It is the login you use to manage the shop itself — your Shopify admin, your WordPress admin username and password, or your Wix account. It is not your Camorna login. If you don't have it, whoever built the site does — and on WordPress or any other website you can skip it, because Camorna writes a message for you to send them.
- Your ad account's login. The Google, Facebook or TikTok login that manages your ads. Each connect guide shows how to check you have one, and how to open an account if you have never advertised.
Each guide below starts with its own Before you start, which explains what each login is, how to tell whether you have it, and who to ask if you don't.
Camorna never asks you to type your store's password, or Google's, Facebook's or TikTok's, into Camorna. You always sign in on their own page and approve there.
Step 1 — Add your store
Choose Add your store. You'll be asked "Where does your store run?" Pick your platform and type your store's name. Nothing else is needed to start; the next screen shows exactly what to install.
Step 2 — Install Camorna
This is the step that differs. Follow the guide for your platform:
Step 3 — Check it works
Open your live store in a browser, as a customer would. This step ticks itself off when Camorna sees that visit arrive — usually within a minute. You do not press anything.
Step 4 — Connect an ad app
Connect the ad account you want Camorna to work in: Google, Meta or TikTok. One is enough to begin.

Camorna reads your store — products, prices, orders and stock — so its ads are about things you really sell. It cannot change anything in your store.
