How to connect TikTok

Connecting TikTok lets Camorna run ads in your own TikTok advertiser account.

Before you start

1. A TikTok For Business login

This is not the login you use to watch or post on TikTok. Advertising has its own, called TikTok For Business, at ads.tiktok.com. You can create it with the same email as your personal TikTok, but it is a separate account.

• How to tell: go to ads.tiktok.com and sign in. If you land in a screen called Ads Manager, you have one.
• If you don't have one: sign up there. It is free, and TikTok asks a few questions about your business.

2. An advertiser account, with a way to pay

Inside TikTok For Business, the advertiser account is what holds your ads and gets billed. Signing up normally creates one for you. Your ads run in your own account, so TikTok needs a payment method there before any ad can run — it is under Payment in Ads Manager.

Steps

1. In Camorna, open Settings → Apps, or choose Connect an ad app from your setup steps.
2. Find TikTok and choose Connect.
3. A TikTok window opens. Sign in with your TikTok For Business login, and approve.
4. The window closes by itself and brings you back to Camorna.
5. Choose your advertiser account.

TikTok now shows as connected.

Music in TikTok ads

TikTok only allows certain music in ads. Camorna lets you search TikTok's own commercial music, which is already cleared for advertising. See Adding music to a TikTok ad.

If something goes wrong

• "Pop-ups are blocked." Allow pop-ups for Camorna in your browser's address bar, then choose Connect again.
• "Sign-in did not finish." Close the TikTok window if it is still open, and try again.
• No advertiser account appears. You are probably signed in with a personal TikTok login. Sign out in the TikTok window and sign in with your TikTok For Business login.
