When Camorna pauses an ad, and why

A paused ad is an ad that has stopped costing you money. Camorna pauses ads for two reasons, and tells you each time.

You ran out of what the ad is selling

Camorna reads your store's stock. When the product an ad is promoting runs down to nothing, the ad comes off, and you get a short notice that says so — for example, "Paused — you're out of it."

Paying for clicks on something nobody can buy is an easy way to waste ad money, and it tends to go unnoticed, because the ad still looks healthy — people keep clicking on it.

The ad isn't working

Some ads simply do not bring in customers. Rather than let one quietly bill you month after month, Camorna turns it off and tells you why.

What a pause does not do

• It does not delete the ad. The ad, its wording and its history stay in your ad account.
• It does not touch your store.
• It does not spend anything. Pausing only ever lowers what you are paying.

Turning an ad back on

Ask Camorna to resume it, or open the ad and switch it back on. If the ad was paused because you ran out of stock, it makes sense to restock first — otherwise it will be paused again for the same reason.

It also tells you when not to spend

If your free posts are bringing in more customers than your paid ads, Camorna says so — and suggests spending less. Its job is to grow your business, not your ad bill.
