Cropping and resizing a picture

Different ad placements want different shapes — square for a feed, tall for stories and TikTok, wide for some others. Camorna lets you reshape a picture without ever losing the one you started with.

Crop a picture

1. Open Creatives and select the picture.
2. Choose Crop & frame.
3. Pick a shape — for example square — or crop freely.
4. Move the picture inside the frame until the important part is in view. You can use the position sliders instead of dragging.
5. Choose Approve and save crop.

You get a new picture. Your original is safe and stays in your library. If you change your mind part-way, choose Discard crop.

Make a picture bigger

If a picture is too small for the ad you want, ask Camorna to "make a bigger copy of it." You get a larger copy alongside the original.

Fine adjustments

Open a picture in Canvas for more control. Right-click the picture to crop it, copy it, save it, adjust it, or undo the last change.

Just ask

Most of the time it is quicker to say what you want:

• "Crop it to a square."
• "Make it fit a TikTok ad."
• "Brighten it a little."

Camorna shows you the result with an Approve button. Until you approve, nothing is saved and nothing in any ad changes.

If something goes wrong

• "This image could not be cropped in your browser." This happens with some pictures that came from another website. Upload your own copy of the picture to your library, and crop that one.
• The crop cuts off something important. Discard it and try a different shape, or crop freely.
